John is highly experienced and effective Quality and Food Safety Leader. Strategy driven and results motivated with extensive experience in startup, expansion, regulatory, implementation, and maintenance of company’s food safety and quality standards at multiple sites. Prior to Redbud Brands, John led the QA department at Del Real Foods and was part of the leadership team that successfully expanded the company in the South. He has strong knowledge in FDA, USDA, and State regulatory compliance and a certified practitioner and auditor of one of the GFSI recognized Standards. Other notable companies he has worked on include GT’s Living Foods, Simply Fresh Foods and BakeMark USA.
John is a graduate of California State University – Los Angeles, where he received his Bachelor and Masters in Nutritional Science and currently resides in Fontana, California. He is passionate about product quality, regulation, and food safety.
