Brian Goldberg
Brian was formerly CFO, Chief Strategy Officer & EVP of Corporate Development for Amplify Snack Brands, Inc. (TA Associates portfolio company) from its formation in 2014 through exit to The Hershey Company in 2018 for ~$1.7B+. Brian also led the Initial Public Offering of Amplify in 2015 and completed multiple M&A transactions throughout his tenure.
In addition to his success at Amplify, Brian has been a C-level executive, board director, advisor, or investor in many successful CPG brands from early-stage to exit, including Sweet Leaf Tea, Deep Eddy Vodka, Waterloo Sparkling Water, Kettle & Fire and Nutrabolt/C4.
Earlier in his career, Brian worked at Ernst & Young, Pfizer, and New Capital Partners. Brian has an MBA from The Darden School at The University of Virginia, a Master’s degree from The University of Georgia, and a BSM degree from Tulane University. Brian resides in Austin, TX and is active in the community serving as a Board Member of JDRF and Naturally Austin and a benefactor of Austin City Limits.
